Katy Perry will sing the special annual July 4th of the U.S. network of department stores Macy's.
Besides the Firework singer, country superstar Kenny Chesney will also perform at the event called New York Fireworks Spectacular which will broadcast the NBC.
"NBC is delighted to have the company of Kenny Chesney and Katy Perry in the celebrations of the 'birthday' of America," said Doug Vaughan, executive of the channel, in a statement.
"The powerful voice and stage presence of these stars are the perfect complement to the engrossing spectacle of Macy's."
More than 40,000 fireworks will be used to display 25 minutes on the Hudson River. The fireworks, which have special choreography, will run to the sound of patriotic songs and classic pop.
Beyonce and Justin Bieber are among the big names who have participated in previous editions of the Fireworks Spectacular.
The special will be aired live on the American holiday of July 4 to 21 hours (Washington time) on NBC.
